You probably know more than I do I just find it rather difficult to believe GB boxers hold all the titles and cards right now.

Re: David Haye
Heavyweight division is actually pretty good at the moment at least 8-10 good boxers which is more than it probably has had for a very long time. The Heavyweight division has always had 5 or 6 boxers that dominate the rest are bums, that's was also the case in Ali's time as was the case in Tyson time.

Re: David Haye
Haye looks like the best Heavyweight to me in GB and probably the world, even though he is fighting two round macho men, sadly last nights fighter was not even that good.

One has to say Heavyweight boxing has never been so poor.

Re: David Haye
Although I agree with Mike that you don't won't to see so much size on Haye and the Joshua fight needs to be very soon.

Haye has played us all whilst earning millions and kept his faculties in tact but it still doesn't hide the fact that he is a fantastic boxer.

Re: David Haye
A motivated Haye beats Joshua for me. I'd pay real money to be ringside.

Re: David Haye
Let's be honest AJs been fighting bums aswell but everyone's on the hype train. And it will probably stay like that till they fight eachother.

Re: David Haye
That's two fights now sold on the hype rather than anything being on the cards. Dave tried to hide it but actually looked to be a fair few empty seats too when they panned around before speaking to Haye in the ring. Surely it is approaching the time where he needs to have a meaningful contest, not sure Briggs is the answer but maybe a step up from these last two jokers. I know he can only fight what's put in front lf him but there are only so many glorified exhibition matches will people are going to waste time and money on purely based on the 'isn't it nice to see David Haye back' factor. Joshua could be the biggest fight in British boxing for some time, even if I suspect Haye would be destroyed. But it's time for one or the other - either chance it on a big fight or descend further into being a circus act for diminishing returns. One thing is for sure, opponents of the calibre of 'The Cobra' aren't going to do him any favours if he is serious about giving it another go - imagine Joshua taking him into round 10 for example (although I actually doubt it would take him that long) and Haye hasn't been beyond two rounds for over 4 years. He can bulk up as much as he wants but purely from a stamina point of view he'd be on the floor.

I had better and more competitive fights with my old man when he was 40, drunk and angry, and I was 3, tired and bored.

Re: David Haye
Proper show pony is Haye.
Should be embarrassed getting in the ring with that standard of opponent.

Not sure how these promoters get away with it and have the media going along with it
He now fights a 44yr Shannon Briggs before chasing after Joshua for a big payday pathetic
